Can I return books at any library?
Where can I return Library materials?
The Library offers universal returns; most circulating material can be returned to any New York Public Library location in the Bronx, Manhattan or Staten Island, except the Schomburg Center.
Can you use a library card in any library?
Individuals ages 18 and older may also apply for a card online if they choose. All Ohio residents are eligible to get a Library card. Before you can borrow items from the Library you must provide a valid form of identification. Please contact your local branch for information on acceptable forms of ID.
Can you return books to any Phoenix library?
With the exception of Interlibrary Loan materials, materials may be returned to any one of our 17 locations. Book drops are available for after-hours returns. Payment of fines and fees may also be made at any Library location.

You can use your card to borrow books, DVDs and other printed items at the self-checkout kiosks or service desk at any Seattle Public Library location. You can return items you borrow to any Library branch during open hours, or after hours at any book drop.

To renew a book online use the following steps: Visit the library online catalog by clicking the link in the upper left of this page or by visiting https://cpcrl.tlcdelivers.com. Use your library card number and the last 4 digits of your phone number for your log in information.
How many times can you renew a library book?
No limit to the number of times that you can renew a book as long no one else requests it. When you login to your library account (http://source.unco.edu/patroninfo) to renew a book, you will be able to see if another patron has placed a hold on it. May renew a book twice as long as no one else requests it.
Do you need a library card to enter a library?
Yes, you can. You can enter any US public library without a card. You would need a valid library card in good standing only if you want to check out library materials or access a service for which a library card is required.
Do you need a library card to get into the library?
Library cards are free and are available at all our locations. You must pick up your card in person (unless you are eligible for Extended Services).

You do not need a library card to use the Wi-Fi.
Can a 5 year old get a library card?
A parent or legal guardian, 18 years or older, must apply for a library card for a child under 14 years old. Parental permission and a signature is required at the time of registration in order for children to use their library cards to check out any DVDs and video games that are not rated for children.
How much does the library charge for late books?
The most common fees and fines are: Books: Overdue: 10 cents a day. Lost books: $60 replacement fee (if you return it, charge is reduced to a $10 late fee)
What happens if you dont pay library fees?
Some libraries, if your fees are over a certain amount (usually $10 or $15) your card will be blocked. You’ll still have to pay an overdue fee, but it’ll be much cheaper than the cost of the book. If you have circumstances that prevent you from being able to pay for your fines, discuss it with library staff.
